Terms of Service
TallyTic LLC · Last updated October 8, 2026
Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Feedetta application, website (including feedetta.com), Progressive Web App (PWA), and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Feedetta is owned, developed, and operated by TallyTic LLC (“TallyTic”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
Feedetta is an offline-first client application and podcast player / RSS feed reader. The Service allows users to subscribe to publicly accessible feeds, cache audio for offline listening on supported devices, and optionally synchronize subscription and playback progress across devices.
2. Open Source License & Intellectual Property
The underlying source code of Feedetta is licensed under the MIT License. You are permitted to inspect, fork, and distribute the code in compliance with the MIT License terms.
The trademarks, trade names, service marks, domain names, and branding associated with Feedetta and TallyTic are the exclusive property of TallyTic LLC. Nothing herein grants a license to use our trademarks or logos without prior written consent.
3. Third-Party Content & RSS Feeds
Feedetta functions as a client-side reader (user agent). The Service does not create, host, curate, monitor, or endorse third-party podcast episodes, audio streams, articles, or show notes.
All copyrights and intellectual property rights in third-party content belong solely to their respective publishers and creators. You are solely responsible for ensuring your access to and playback of third-party feeds complies with applicable laws and the publisher’s licensing terms.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to abuse, overburden, attack, or disrupt Feedetta’s edge infrastructure, caching relays (/api/audio, /api/img), or serverless functions.
You may not use the Service to attempt unauthorized network access, conduct denial-of-service attacks, bypass Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) filters, or violate any applicable laws. TallyTic LLC reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to any IP address or user violating these provisions.
5. Local Storage & Cross-Device Sync
Feedetta is designed offline-first. Your feeds, unread states, playlists, and downloaded episodes reside on your local device in IndexedDB and Cache Storage. TallyTic LLC does not retain copies of your un-synced local data.
If you choose to use cross-device sync, we authenticate your session via passwordless magic links and verification codes. Synced data is secured using Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS) restricted to your authenticated user account.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TallyTic LLC does not warrant that playback will be uninterrupted, that browser storage quotas will not evict cached media, or that third-party feed servers will remain operational.
7. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL TALLYTIC LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
TallyTic LLC’s total cumulative liability shall not exceed the greater of $100.00 USD or the total fees paid by you to TallyTic LLC in the preceding twelve months.
8. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
